We offer a variety of services ranging from your standard service, shocks and forks, custom builds, wheel builds, warranties and even when it comes to EPS and Di2 Electronic upgrades - we’ve got you covered! Not all jobs can be scheduled online so feel free to give us a call if the option you are looking for is not available below.

1st Service - Free!

  • Reset and adjust brakes and gears
  • Inflate both tyres
  • Lube the chain, cassette and both mechs
  • Check & true wheels
  • Check all cables for fraying and wear
  • Check all bearings for movement
  • Check and tighten all bolts
  • Phone if any parts need replacing

Bosch Update - From £40.00

The Bosch software will be checked and updated any error codes removed E-bikes bought from Dales Cycles will get this done for free as part of any service  

Brake Service | Mtb | Hydraulic - From £25.00

  • Reset and adjust brake
  • Check hydraulic hose for wear or damage
  • Check for wear of brake pads/blocks
  • Check rotors for warping and damage
  • Check operation and condition of brake calipers and brake levers (Including looking for leaks)
  • Bleed the brake if needed using the appropriate fluid
  • Replace any parts that need replacing
  • Cost is per brake

Brake Service | Mtb | Mechanical - From £15.00

  • Reset and adjust brake
  • Check cables for wear or fraying
  • Check for wear of brake pads/blocks
  • Check rims for wear & advise if they are worn
  • Check operation and condition of brake calipers and brake levers
  • Replace any parts that need replacing

Brake Service | Road | Hydraulic - From £25.00

  • Reset and adjust brake

  • First service for Brompton click and collect customers 
  • This is valid for a maximum of 3 months 
  • Please provide the receipt when dropping the bike off in store

  • Cut fork steerer to the desired length for the customer

Eps Diagnostic And Set Up - From £40.00

Estimate | Repair - Free!

  • Estimate the cost to repair the cycle (General Estimate)
  • Call or email the customer prior to doing any work with the cost to get the bike back up and running

Fit B/cable F/r - From £7.50

Fit new brake cable, check for wear on brake pads and replace if needed.

Fit Bar Tape - From £10.00

  • Remove old bar tape
  • Check for wear on cables & advise if they need replacing
  • Fit new bar tape
  • Phone if any parts need replacing

Fit BB / Service BB - From £20.00

  • Inspect the BB for wear
  • Fit new BB if needed
  • Apply fresh grease
  • Torque to the correct level

Fit Cassette - From £10.00

Check for wear on the drive chain. Advise if the chain needs replaced. Fit new cassette to wheel & adjust gears. Phone if any other parts need replacing

Fit Chain - From £15.00

Check for wear on the drive chain. Advise if the cassette needs replaced. Fit new chain and ensure gears are set up correctly. Phone if any other parts need replacing.

Fit Chainring/s - Price to be confirmed

Check for wear on the drive chain. Advise if the chain or cassette needs replacing. Fit new chain rings and ensure mechs are aligned correctly. Phone if any other parts need replacing.

Fit Chainset - From £20.00

Remove old chain set. Inspect BB for wear and advise if needs replacing. Fit new chain set and adjust gears. Phone if any other parts need replacing

Fit Front Mech - From £15.00

Remove front mech. Inspect cables for wear & advise if they need replacing. Fit new front mech and adjust the gears.

Fit G/cable F/r - Price to be confirmed

Fit Headset / Service Headset - From £20.00

  • Strip and clean the headset
  • Replace the bearings if needed
  • Re-grease and refit forks

Fit New Groupset - From £150.00

  • Fit a full groupset
  • Set up brakes and gears
  • E.g. Frame Swap
  • Fit STI's/Shifters/Brakes

Fit New Parts - Price to be confirmed

Fit any new parts that the customer is needing. Phone if any other parts need replaced.

Fit New Wheels - Price to be confirmed

 

Fit Pedals - From £7.50

Remove old pedals. Fit & grease new pedals and tighten to the correct torque

Fit Rear Mech - From £10.00

Remove rear mech. Inspect cables for wear & advise if they need replacing. Fit new rear mech and adjust the gears.

Fit Rim Tape - From £7.50

Fit Tyre Front - From £10.00

Fit new front tyre. Phone if any other parts need replacing.

Fork Service | Fox | In House - From £30.00

  • Full strip down and clean of fork. 
  • Replacement of broken or worn parts.
  • New seals fitted. 
  • Fresh oil fitted*.
  • Forks set to riders specific settings. 
  • *Please note that this service does not include the price of parts.

Fork Service | Fox | Send Away - From £120.00

  • Forks sent to Fox for service 
  • Replacement of broken or worn parts.
  • New seals or bushes fitted. 
  • Fresh oil fitted.
  • Forks set to riders specific settings.

  • Build a bike up from the frame with new components and rebuild with both wheels

Gear Service | Mtb | Electronic - From £20.00

  • Reset and adjust the front and rear gears (Where applicable)
  • Check and adjust limit screws if needed
  • Ensure cassette is tight onto freehub
  • Check gear hanger is straight
  • Check electronic cables for damage (Where applicable)
  • Check drivechain for wear and inform customer
  • Lube drivechain
  • Please note: This does not include a software update, this is a separate job.

  • Reset and adjust the front and rear gears
  • Check the cables for wear, replace if worn or frayed
  • Check drivechain for wear and inform customer
  • Lube the drivechain
  • Adjust the limit screws and indexing, as well as the mechanism in the shifters

  • Check and adjust limit screws if needed

Reverb Service In House - From £30.00

we carry out a full 400 hour strip and rebuild service in house any seals or parts required will be on top of the service we only require the seat post if you want to drop the full bike off there may be a labour fee for removal or rebleeding of the seat post 

Service Shock - Price to be confirmed

  • Send shock back to the relevant service center for service or repair

Set Up Tubeless - From £15.00

  • Fit tubeless valve
  • Fit tubeless tape
  • Fit tubeless tyre
  • Fit tubeless sealant
  • Inflate and check for seal
  • Price per tyre

Standard Service - From £54.95

  • Reset and adjust brakes and gears
  • Inflate both tyres
  • Lube the chain, cassette and both mechs
  • Check & true wheels
  • Check all cables for fraying and wear
  • Check all bearings for movement
  • Check and tighten all bolts
  • Check for the wear on the drivechain and advise if phone if any parts need replacing

Warranty Return - Price to be confirmed

Check over damaged part(s) and find cause of fault. Replace under warranty or good will gesture. Note: This is only for purchases from Dales Cycles
